I'm running a b16a1, and I just wanted some ideas on the best way to lose the speed limiter in this car.. The car stops at about 125 and it will do well over that... Let me know!

 

best way to remove it is with a chip that doesnt have a limiter. why you would need to go faster than that i dont know.

Honestly, in most cases, I wouldn't need to, but do you know what it feels like to see some crappy old TDI jetta go past you cuz you can't keep up top end??? My civic killlllllls it on acceleration, but it squeaks past cuz he's got a higher top end...

My bro's Integra is faster top end too.. He has a GSR, but my civic w/ b16a1 would beat it if it wasn't for the speed limiter.. He passed me at 140 and wasn't done accelerating... I was done at 125....

 

Like they said, why do you need to go that fast on a public highway?
Unless your running 11 sec et's you don't need to go that fast....

I'm not stupid enough to drive fast among other drivers. I'm not going to put anyone else in danger when I decide I wanna open up my car a little.

Hell, I haven't been in a single damn accident, and I've NEVER been pulled over for speeding. Reason being, I don't do it out in the open with other cars around....
