Default VENOM Mani. Making IACV work. *pics*

I bought this mani off of a member just because it was cheap, didnt know I would have this IACV prolem.

The mani is for a Z6, the t/b pictured is an a6 because thats what I had lying around. What I dont get is how they got the IACV to work and Im hoping someone can help me.

I thought that the IACV just would bolt onto the mani and the one hose form the t/b -> iacv was all that was needed but people are saying know but knowone can explain why.

Im hoping someone can explain to me visually why it will/wont work or what needs to be done/undone to make it work.

Like I know theres a hole in the t/b where air somehow gets to the IACV and the IACV controls how much air the engine sees at idle, so I dont see why it wont work.

Bump it if you peep it

Thanks

I think it would work as long as you can attach it. You might have to pull the TB off and put nuts on the inside to hold it on properly.

Here's a Z6 TB if you need one: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=172654

Those outter holes are threaded so the bolts just thread right in

But looking at my stock mani I have around here, only the hole on the left (inner left hole) you can see right through into the manifold

and with the one on the inner right, you cant see right through and it kind of goes off to the right, Im assuming attaches somehow to the little hole in the top of the t/b

I just dont get how an IACV work or how I can make mine work with the mani

that not gonna work, because you need the inlet vented to atmosphere and the outlet of the iacv into the manifold vac. the way you have it right now it just vents the vac to vac which does nothing.

Glad you got it figured out. Post pics when you're done.
