Default golden eagle girdle kit?

just wondered if anybody has any experience with these?

im not sure if i will need it or not but my upgrades (some of which i have, some of which im saving for) should increase the rev-ability of my engine and i wanna make sure it is strong enough....

Engine: b18b in a 94 integra LS

Bottom end:

B16 (pr3) pistons
upgraded rods (havent decided on Crower or Golden Eagle)
GS-R oil pump

Head:
Crower 62403's
Crower 84162 spring and retainer kit

as far as tuning/ignition etc goes, i know im currently dealing with that stuff, just wondered if the girdle kit is a good idea or a waste of my money.

TIA

At this point in time, I would say that it is a waste of money. It would probably be good to be safe rather than sorry especially if you are upping the redline big time.

With a girdle, and what you mentioned, it should be stable into the 8k RPM range. You may want to look into the 404's if you really want to invest in the high RPM band.

do you think that with my setup:

a. i will make power at RPM's that high (i think so but have no fact to back it up)

and

b. i will need the extra strength in the bottom end?

i was considering 404's but i wasnt sure if they would be too extreme for street use. i figured 403's would be a safer bet however, i havent completely ruled out the 404's
