if you are venting the crank case back into the intake track then yes but that seemed to be a good amount of oil and venting it back is a bad idea get a catch can if you are venting back in

If your PCV valve is old, it could allow more oil to be sucked in as well.
In any case, a catch can is your best bet on a boosted car.
As for your piping, you need a lip on the intercooler and piping side for the coupler to grab on to.
Also doesn't hurt to double up on the number of clamps you use on both sides, and make sure the coupler and outside of the piping is free of any residue before you install it. Brake cleaner and a clean rag works.
That's what we had to do on a 24psi car anyways...

could be but it wouldn't cause much burning....from your avatar I assume you have a greddy kit which means you are venting into the intake pipe. that means the oil would have to get through your compressor and all the IC piping to get burned. the compessor is probably hot enough to burn it and send it thought the piping though so that could be a cause.....do a leak down test and if that is ok buy a catch can they are like 100 bucks

If it is the turbo seals, it could leak most of the oil out and get burned. That would damage the engine. You should be more worried about damage to the turbo.
