the reason that I am asking is because I am a employee at pep boys and alot of the borgwarner pumps that we sell are actually bosch pumps. I have a ford inline pump that was for a truck but in the back of the borgwarner catalog they specify all of the different pressures. The borg warner pump(actually stamped bosch) says maximum psi is 80. Its a nice pump but the higher flowing ones like the 130 +180's are big bucks. And then the fitings aren't even close to something I can incoorperate. Do you remember what the max was on your noname pump????
Do you think that That inline will do the trick or should I look for something with a higher maxpsi. I don't see how a inlne with a max of 80psi could help me reach a pressure around 120-130 in the rail.... What do you think???

I think the Bosch inline pumps that Endyn carries are rated to at least 120psi, and I'm not really sure what my old pump was rated at. Airtex pumps are rated to about 125psi, I think. Most people either use a Bosch, the Airtex that comes with the DRAG kits, or an MSD pump. I think the MSD is like $76 from Summit Racing.

I picked up a new inline fuel pump for $40 bucks. (fell off of truck)
Its rated at 115-120psi . I hope its enough. I'll keep you posted.
For that Price I'll give it a shot. It can only get better>I hope?

back to the drawing board..... I installed the inline and the same results. I can't seem to get over 60psi in the rail without my car bucking like fuel cut out or maybe even detonation. Ive never felt detonation so I don't know. It seems like the more I turn the fmu up the faster I run lean.. And I still don't understand why my a/f is fine in 1rst gear, Starts to run lean in second gear, And by third gear its completey in the red for lean. Could my speed sensor be bad causing my greddy box to give wrong mixtures. All that I want for my car is to be running the way it was when I first Installed the kit.

I am not sure if the speed sensor has anything to do with the greddy box or not but the first time that the car started to run lean was directly after I had the clutch done. Every thing is reconnected like it should be because I have verified it myself.

I am not sure if the speed sensor on hondas actually help control fuel mixtures and thats why they get excellant gas mileage. That would explain why my car leans out faster as speed increases.

my car redlines at 7200rpm. Why would mixtures be any different if I were in 1rst gear or 5th gear.

a couple of times my tach wasn't working until a couple minutes after the car was running.

If you have any more explenations or ideas... PLEASE HELP....
Summers almost over here in buffalo and my car has't been running right for months now...

You can't get more than 60psi of fuel pressure with the inline? Are you sure the FMU is working right? I would ditch the GReddy box and get some check vlaves or a Missing Link.

I am going to do just that. I'm wonderingif the holley fmu is a 1:1 type regulator. That still doesn't explain the bucking when the pressure is turned up.. if anything it should help out a little..

you don't have any insight on the speed sensor idea or am I just making my self sound stupid? I am grasping at straws here.

I'm not sure if your VSS would have anything to do with it, but the ECM does use speed signal to control VTEC, so anything's possible I guess. Ditching the GReddy box will get rid of one of the variables that could be causing your problems.

I'm such an ideot , now that I am looking at the instructions for my holley fmu it looks like a 1:1 fuel pressure riser. What A waste of money. Now I have to save for the 12:1 fmu that I need.
