Hey i was just wondering if yall could tell me which skunk2 cams to get, i am plannin on turboin my 94 gsr, and im buildin the motor first, i need to know which of the 3 stage cams to get. heres the specs:

stage 1 skunk 2 cams
intake: duration @ 1mm 252º Lift: 0.456" (11.5mm)
exhaust: duration @ 1mm 249º Lift: 0.426" (10.8mm)

stage 2 skunk 2 cams
intake: duration @ 1mm 266º Lift @ 0" Lash: 0.485 (12.3mm)
opening @ 1mm: 37º BTDC
closing @ 1 mm: 49º ABDC
exhaust: duration @ 1mm 262º Lift @ 0" Lash: 0.466" (11.8mm)
opening @ 1mm: 61º BTDC
closing @ 1 mm: 21º ABDC

stage 3 skunk 2 cams
intake: duration @ 1mm 270º Lift @ 0" Lash: 0.504" (12.8mm)
opening @ 1mm: 35º BTDC
closing @ 1 mm: 52º ABDC
exhaust: duration @ 1mm 262º Lift @ 0" Lash: 0.465" (11.8mm)
opening @ 1mm: 62º BTDC
closing @ 1 mm: 32º ABDC

and then they all say

Valve settings
Lash the valves to stock settings on a cold motor
Intake: 0.007in.
Exhaust: 0.008in.


WHICH ONE WOULD YOU GUYS GO WITH FOR A TURBOCHARGED MOTOR?

 

Aren't those Skunk cams for NA? NA cams like Skunks, or ITR/CTR's for that matter, usually have a lot of overlap, which is counterproductive to boost. Stick with your GSR cams, or get turbo cams. Someone posted that Skunk is coming out with turbo cams, you might want to look into those.

Get some turbo grind cams from crower, they will be best for your application.
