k20's have been put into everything from 92-00 civics, 94-00 integra's, crx's, etc. but its a costly swap.

 

my brother is in this same boat. He really wants to turbocharge an LS motor but i have a feeling if he ever got the motor that he would never fall through on the 2nd part of the project which would be turbocharging. So it would be better to just do a H22. Even a GSR but everyone around us has a GSR or a b16 in there civics. Btw he has a 2000 civic hatch.

 

personally, my next swap will be an H swap. i have done the b16a, I did a b18c for my roommate, and I want to try something new. Hopefully it will be my spring project car. The H has a bad rap from back in the day as Andy pointed out. I have driven a couple and holy shit they are fun to drive.

 

See... I get all these different opinions on the H... I was thinking about it today again, and I think what I am going to do, is I am going to start gathering the parts I need for the swap, (linkage, and other small parts), and when I get my bonus in august, I will buy the motor, and then do the swap, that way I have everything I need, and wont be spending all my $ at once. I can buy a few parts every month or so, and maybe even some performance parts to put on the motor befor I swap it in... I dont want to go with a B18 or B16, I want the 2.2! And im gonnaa get the damn thing if its the last thing I do!
