??? When you put it all together, the TDC mark on the crank pulley should line up with the timing "spike" and the head should be at TDC. Then you use a timing light and the other mark on the crank pulley to set the ignition timing... should be 10-20 degrees before TDC, don't know what B series specs are. The only thing I can thing of, if you've done this, it that your cam timing is a tooth or so off on either cam. It is difficult to keep everything lined up on a B series.

Rock the SOHC! Everything is so much simpler... J/k!

70mph at 4900 RPM? God damn, I run 3k at 80mph!

When you brake it down to stuff that matters...

Time it like a stock B18C.

That's one hell of a setup for a guy too dim to time his own engine. I hope the bottom end is built, or you aren't reving it over 7k RPM, or else pop goes the weasel.

does your motor have a rough idle. it so then you are a tooth off. if not the its time to think about you you didnt do right. Any machine work?? ohh crap, where are your pistons at. you should have atleast semi high comp pistons. little old bitty 9.0:1 aint gonna do it. this could be a problem. do you have a girdle and if not then are you revving to 8200 or not. also if you are how long have you had the motor put together.

Are you using a stock bottom end and stock head?
