More Teg Problems...
Ok guys... sorry about all these posts... but the problems keep comin... I have a 94 4 door gs-r i was having a problem before with it misfireing, and i changed all kinds of stuff, started with the plugs and the wires then the fuel filter then dist cap and dist rotor button. But it just so happens that one of the new plugs that i put it got filed out so i changed it, and it hasnt came back since (its been about 500 miles)
Now my problems are these:
My water temp is flucuating like mad, it will go all the way up to like 3/4 then ill give the car some gas and zoom back down it goes. if my car sits and idles it goes up fast and the fans dont kick on. but they do kick on sometimes....
i was thinking about flushing the radiador and putting some frest 50/50 in it
also i think this may deal with the problem... Sometimes my heater will start blowing cold air, like this morning the temp was where it usually is when the cars warm and i didnt get warm air till about 20 min after. I did put maybe a cup of water in my radiador at the end of summer.
Number two problem, is it common for a gs-r to burn a quart and half of oil every say 3000 miles?
number three, my rear right brake bad on the inside wore way faster than the other 3... someone said to grease my slid pins, which if havnt done. from it wearing so quickly it messed my rotor up a bit. But school was starting at the time so i just put a new brake pad on and continuted on. Now it went all the way down again and really messed up my rotor, which i will be sanding down soon. But i put a new brake pad on, but my brake pedal goes all the way to the floor... it works a little on the way and some at the end.. if i pump it i can get regular brakes.
Finaly, if u get the front right wheel sensor form the diag test what are some of the things that can be wrong??
Sorry for the massive post :-/ but i want my car normal help please

Cooling problems might just be air in the system. But flushing & using fresh antifreeze is a good idea. Make sure you turn the heat all the way to HOT & work all the air bubbles out.
At 128k miles, my GSR doesn't burn oil like that.
Your caliper is sticking. Grease the caliper slide pins, make sure the caliper slides properly, also make sure the pad isn't wedged in too tight when you put it into the caliper bracket. Maybe you have to file the paint off the ends of the backing plate?
Brake pedal sinks but you can pump it to get good brakes... You have air in there, you need do bleed your brakes.
The ABS wheel sensors are bolted to the steering knuckle, they point at the toothed ring on the axle. It's magnetic, so see if it's got a pile of crud stuck to it? There's a proper distance between the sensor & the teeth. 1mm?? (Someone can look it up?) Then follow the sensor wire. Cut? Disconnected? It goes thru the fender to an orange plug on the shock tower.

yea someone told me the air think they said to fill it up and to squeeze the hoses
i dont know why its burning oil could needing a oil changed badly be it?
I blead the brake lines well 3 of them i couldnt get the 4th nipple loose but one wasnt coming out to good so i may try that one again
ill have to check out the wheel sensor crap... lots of problems at once i also need a clutch and an exhaust :-/ so f me

On the radiator, you don't need to squeeze the hoses. The GSR has a coolant bleed bolt on the water neck passage going to the head.
As for burning oil, VTEC burns oil. So if you are in VTEC constantly, it could happen. Get a compression test done and come back to us with the results so we can help diagnose if there is a problem.

I've been saying squeeze the hoses. You can feel & hear whether there's air in there. Besides, even after using the coolant bleeder screw there's usually some air still in the hoses. I have to push down on the upper hose to push the air over to the radiator cap.
How badly does it need an oil change? You better just do it...
I bet you got air in the brake line for the one caliper that has a stuck bleeder. Murphy's law kinda works that way.

the top hose dosnt have any water in it period and no matter how much water i put in the radiador it just eats it and then spits it into the over flow so im gonna flush it here and see what happens... i dont know wtf's up i got zero heat and my car IS NOT over heating so
