00 gsr into 94 del sol obd1 p72, no cels. no injector action while cranking. but i can get it to start and run if I lightly dust the air cleaner with starting fluid. warms up, tachs up, no codes... but if I shut it off, it wont start without the dusting. Any idea's?

 

is this a fresh swap or did this thing run in the current vehicle prior to this problem?

 

ok.. i just skimmed through your other post.. sounds like it could be as simple as a bad fuse somewhere or a missing ground!.. check the obvious stuff first. Best of luck.. i'm sure others will chime in with some suggestions as well.

 

nevermind... found it the brown 3 wire 5 pin socket that goes to the ud/fb. the retainer came loose and a wire was mostly out
