So the hood is no help for me at the moment.

First, figure out if it's a D15B7, B8, or Z1. You might want to think twice about spending money on a B8.
I remembered I had a copy of the FSM. Spec is 1.1mm (.043") on all '92-95 Civic engines.

Well what the f have I gotten myself into. I barely have the care for a week, and some one steals the dist and plug wires dohhhh. Thats ok, I was gonna replace the plug wires anyway, but the dist, the guy I bought the car from said the dist was not stock, and he modified (sp cut up the mounts) it to make it fit. Now I gotta find out what dist he put in this thing and go get another one, as well as get someone to fix the cut up wires.
Serves me right though, first stop should have been to get an alarm, noooo I wanted wheels and tires first, glad they didnt get stolen. Guess what I will be doing today???
Kai thanks for the help, I set them at 1.1 and seemed to run just fine.

ps how do I find out more about what this motor is, can I give you guys any numbers off the block to help me with aquiring stuff for the future. All I know is 1500 single cam V-tech. (though I dont think the right ecu is installed cause i am not sensing a v-tech change at any rpm) .

It looks like a JDM D15B. The block is stamped "D15B" on a flat spot to the lower left side of the front... by he exhaust manifold.
