Default Longest swap project in the world :(

Ok guys.. i'm started to get motivated to work on my pain in the azz of a car again..

I left off with changing every wire over to the integra harness's .. internal & external.. & this was prior to me learning the "supposid right way to do this swap"

Here's the plan of action if it sounds right...

Going to change the interior harness back to stock.. so it's like i'm starting fresh.. I'm going to run all 95ex wiring on the inside of the car.. with an ECU from a B18b1 teg.

Then i'm going to slap the distributor from a B18b1 teg onto my B18a1 motor. & hope that the lil bish runs..

Any suggestions or forseen problems with this?? please tell me now.. i've been through 3 entire wiring harnesses & a custom made harness & still can't get the damn thing to run..

ANY HELP would be appreciated..

I found this info from someone's prior post.. Will anyone back this info up??

you'll need

-94+ integra mounts, axles, shift linkage
-stock wireharness from the civic
-obd1 distributor, injectors, and altenator
-obd1 LS ecu

with all those things, it will be a bolt-in, plug in affair, with no re-wiring (except extending the 02 sensor plug)

I was wondering why the name sounded familiar. Decided to give up on the harness swap huh? You shouldn't have any issue with the parts you listed bolting to the B18A and allowing you to run a B18B OBD I ECU. I haven't tried it myself but I imagine it working. Are you still using the B18A cable tranny?

Yes, I'm still using the B18A1 Cable tranny.

I really hope this harness setup works this time.. i can't afford to swap any more harness's around & spending azz loads of money on all this stuff!

Another question that just ran through my head.. By Connecting everything this way, how will i get my spedometer to work.. being that the tranny is cable & the gauge in the civic cluster is electric??

b18b1 distributor goes like this: 1-3-4-2 with #1 at bottom left and rotating clockwise.

b18a distributor goes like this: 1-3-4-2 with #1 at top left and rotating clockwise.

hope that helps, it really screwed me up when i was workin on my 94 but referring to a 90-93 manual for firing order.
