Here's the deal, my buddy bought a 91 Teggy GS about 18 months ago & has been sinking a TON of $$ into this thing. He bought a JDM GSR motor w/ the LSD & swapped the motor w/ little trouble, biggest thing was going from a cable clutch to a hydro clutch & locating it in the engine bay because there just wasn't any room on the firewall. So he's got everything installed except he's missing the 3 plugs that go into the ECU from the motor. Does he have to buy the entire harness from the motor to the ECU? Is there anywhere he can get just the 3 plugs or the engine harness? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

What harness is he trying to use? The us or the jdm?

 

The JDM motor came w/ a JDM ECU.

 

What Engine harness is he using? I am unsure what you are speaking of. The ecu plugs are different because the ecu plugs in his car are obd0 the ecu is obd1 you should just go to my buddy’s website and buy an ecu jumper so you can run the ecu. His website is locashracing.com; he is an awesome and very knowledgeable guy. The part you are going to need is the obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper.

He ended up finding the part from another supplier but thanks for your help. Your friends website looks very nice, lots of stuff & info. This has been one heck of a journey because here in NW Pennsylvania there isn't too much support. If we lived in CA then it would've been done in a few weeks. Thanks again!
