-b16 sir2 w/ gsr tranny
-itr exhaust cam
-ctr intake cam
-ctr pistons
-itr valves and springs
-itr intake manifold
other misc. parts: dc sports header, aem adjustable cam gears, msd ignition system, aem cai, apex n1 catback, act clutch w/ 8lb flywheel.

Use a b16 or itr with lsd tranny. Quicker gearing.

They are all the same.

Get an apex'i V-AFC. It's an air/fuel controller that just happens to have a built in VTEC controller.

would it be good to go with the itr header? is it 4-1? i havent looked into that one yet. but im guessing i could probably pick one up for cheaper than a dc sports.
thanks for the suggestions on other parts...im doing a little more research on the CTR pistons for higher compression. would a C/R of around 12:1 be safe for daily driving?

Go with the ITR header. The gains are higher than a DC sports or equivalent. It also looks pretty badass for a stock part. They will run you a little more than the DC sports ceramic but they are full stainless steel and with your future setup, a gain of 6 hp isn't out of the question.

No, 12:1 CR would require racing fuel because pump gas would just detonate.

unless you run it so rich as to negate the advantages of that high of a compression.

There was a guy on G2IC that ran 12.5:1 daily... how I don't know. I'd never even think of trying it on a street vehicle.
