Default LS/VTEC question.

Hey guys, it is expensive to do the LS/VTEC conversion? Is it even worth it?

Yes it's expensive to do it right, and might as well do a b20vtec.....try searching it's been covered a lot.

dude i say don't waste your time i would rather do a all motor GSR engine.... If your new into the hybird stuff then it just isn't something to do... its to much mixing and matching.... even just doing a jdm to a us car is enough of a puzzle....

so like i said stick with something a little more simple for now... unless you have the $$$ to have someone help you

I agree... I started my LS/VTEC project thinking I would just do the B16a head and that's it... course the intake manifold is different but that's no big deal... now I've got custom pistons and rods, ITR valvetrain, 330 cc injectors, Clutchmaster stage 3, Skunk2 DOHC chipped P28 ecu, new mounts, new oil pump, new seals... etc. etc.
So what I thought was going to be a simple head and intake manifold change has turned into a monster I cannot control. hahaha

Just to show u an example ;-)
