ok , i have a 94 civic lx sohc non vtec , with my current situation the only money i have would b barely enough to afford a sohc vtec motor , so i was curious , what would i need to do to my motor internally AND externally (ign and fuel system etc) , to handle a decent shot of nitrous or a turbo ? please help me out here , just dont say , dont waste your money on that motor
o and are there any online stores that sell internal motor stuff for this motor?
if you're going to bolt-on a kit. Stock boost settings on the kit should be fine on a stock motor. Run like 6 psi and you *shouldn't* have any problems...how many miles on the motor?
um only 29900 . i found it in a garage covered in dust an old lady bought it new and lost her liscense with only 8600 miles on it , ok and how would i got about bulding for nitrous then
forged pistons and conrods would handle nitrous really well...nitrous equals a form of boost, so you handle nitrous the same way as turbos and superchargers, tuning, fuel, stronger internals, etc...
if your serious get the engine in the car first working properly, then you can worry about nos. you might put the engine in and run up on simple problems
