Default exhaust

hello,

wats the ideal exhaust piping size to gain power out of a B16A1 from a EH Civic (same shape as the EG) and what type of muffler size also.

im thinking of using a HKS Hiper muffler, 4.5" inch tip with a 3" inlet for it...

the best pipe i think is best is 2 1/4. don't go bigger unless you are boosting.

what about a 2 1/2" piping, is that good or bad...? does it matter about the type of muffler is used, wat if the muffler is a turbo muffler?

also i've heard that the extractors on hondas are quite good, is it worth changing them?

2 1/2 would suit a modified b16, but I wouldn't run it on an engine you intend to remain stock.
