I just purchased a 99 gsr that had a blown motor in it. yes i have had the car looked over by several garages and they all quoted me right around 4600 to fix. so my question is where can i pic up a good used type r or gsr motor from online or within 200 miles of cleveland ohio. i tried total jdm and they dont have any type r motors in stock and they wernt very much help. im sorry if this has been posted b4. any help would b greatly appreciated as it sucks not haveing a car to drive.

Call www.rcrewracing.com in San Francisco for an R swap. Talk to Dan or Ken. I bought my first ITR tranny from Dan (and he helped me install it). I also bought a JDM R engine from him when my wife hydrolocked my GSR engine. Only had 10k miles on it. My mechanic opened it up and said it looked brand new. Dan and Ken are my Honda gurus cuz they really know there shiat! They are very trustworthy.
