How fast were you going? Any sounds when it happened? You can try to replace the belt and hope for the best...

I was only going 40 at 3k rpm and no sounds, just stalled out.

Replace the belt. It will either run fine, run lke hell, or not run at all.

If it runs fine, you're lucky.

If it barely runs or doesn't run at all, you need to crack open the engine and see what happened. You may have bent or broken valves, scarred pistons or even cylinders. At 3k RPM, the damage is probably minimal if any.

What engine do you have? Some have much tighter tollerences then others.
