Success!
Finally got my swap started last night. I changed my starter and tried to start it and nothing was happening. I was sooo pissed. So I decided to try something that someone on this forum suggested. I took my booster cables, hooked one end to the engine and the other to the body of the car. Turned the key and eureka!!!!
Took a little while to start, because the pressure was building up in the fuel lines, but once the engine started, all the pressure that I was under for the past week had disappeared. Seriously, the B18C1 shouldn't be underestimated. When you're used to 106 hp, the 170 hp from the GSR is a huge difference.
If anyone has any questions about a B18C1 swap into an EK, let me know, I did everything myself, so I'd probably be able to help you out. BTW I'll try to borrow my friends digicam so I can get some pics up soon.

Yeah! Congratulations, I glad you got it running! I remember the first night I took my hatch out. I took it out to a remote steep hill and went tearing up the damn thing in 3rd gear. I was simply blown away by the difference in power, even compared to 127hp D16Y8. I didn't have a tach at the time so I wasn't even really pushing it all the way to redline either.
I had a similiar problem with mine starting. I changed the fuel filter and when I went to start it, I had to crank it over 3 times before it actually started. Scared the piss out of me for the first 2. I realize now that it was probably just taking some time to refill the filter and get the pressure up. Started up first turn after that.
Did the speedo issue resolve itself? Still jumping around when you start or is it working normally? Congratulations again and this forum could always use more people with good experience helping out. I'll look forward to the pics.

If I count the hours....about 40 or so.......Take in consideration that the most I had ever done on my car before was changing my suspension.
It actually took a lot longer than that. Because I was working in the day and that I sometimes had to wait a few days to receive some parts, it took me about 1 1/2 weeks to complete it.
I was really fed up of getting rides to work all the time. Now all I need to get done is my exhaust system. I temporarily hooked up my 1 5/8" exhaust system to it......It's soooo loud because my cat was directly on my exhaust manifold before, so now I don't have one at all.
