A friend of mine owns a 88 CRX with a ZC motor swap. he bought it about two months ago and hasnt been able to start it since...the guy he bought it off of said it didnt run so he got it real cheap. anyway i went over there to see if i could figure it out and heres what i figured...hes getting gas, a spark, a solid crank, and just will not fire for anything, just crank like hell. i checked everything i could think of, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuses, grounds, fuel filter, and everything seems to be in place. any suggestions of where else to look for a way to get this running..thanx in advance

 

sure this things in time??? sounds like a timing problem off hand.

this is a dumb idea, but did you make sure to check that the ECU fuse isn't blown? It's in the fuse box that's on the passenger-side strut tower, it's a 15-amp fuse. If that fuse is blown or removed, the engine will not start, no matter what you try. Just a thought
