Default High idle after engine swap

I just had a B18C1 put in my '93 Integra with a '95 GSR throttle body & Skunk2 manifold and there was no spot for the FITV so it was left out. But when I start the car the idle jumps to 2500 and will slowly go down to 2000 and then surge back up and it'll do this for about 5 minutes until it settles at 1500. When driving if I let off the gas the idle goes down to about 1000 and then jumps up to 2000 and will settle at 1500. IAC is connected, The idle screw is turned all the way in, PCV connected, bled the coolant several times and all vacuum lines are free and connected correctly. What's left??

you've gotta be careful with the tps sensor removal and installation

but i'd def check that out, and your vacuum lines

I'll put money on it that it's an Intake manifold leak. Check your Intake manifold gasket and you spark plug grommets.

I just did a JRSC on a ZC CRX and had the same problem.

good luck...

Yea, I have that same problem on my B16... check all the lines, so far it went down after we played with the coolant lines, I also had the problem of it reving up and down upon initial start.

Pretty good guess. It was the t-body gasket. For some reason I was given the wrong one in my gasket set and didn't even think to double-check it before final installation. All is well now. Thanks guys!
