Default Valve stem seals????

Hey guys... Im wondering if someone on here can tell me the symptoms of bad/worn valve stem seals?? I suspect that might be a problem im having with my b17a. After being followed somewhere by a friend, he noticed a decent amount of blue smoke from the exhaust while driving. This tells me somehow oil is getting into the combustion chamber/s. SInce the car got a brand new oem honda headgasket put on just over a year ago so i dont suspect the problem could be coming from there. Please help! thanks so much..

You could be getting oil blow-by from the piston rings as well.

I have also heard that could be a cause from somebody else... What could be the cause of that? worn rings? Would the pcv system have anything to do with that? Thanks for the help...

Everything you ever wanted to know about the Honda PR3 (i.e. B16A/B17A) cylinder head, right here: http://puffmatic.homestead.com/files/pr3head.pdf

Just be sure to do right click, save as on the link since it's kind of big.

Does anybody know WHY the PR3 head must be removed in order to remove the valve springs/seals/etc.??? I dont see why you couldnt do the typical air in cylinder trick? Also, do you have the links for the rest of that manual??? it is great!

It's actually the Helms factory service manual for 1993 Integra in pdf format that some kind soul scanned page by page and divided up into chapters and has kind of circulated around the net. All I did was split off just the GSR part of the cylinder head chapter and made a new pdf file which I uploaded to my personal web space. Unfortunately I don't have enough space to upload the whole manual, but I'm sure it's probably still floating around the internet somewhere.
