Default Can tire valve stem broken?

I went to gas station to inflate my tires this afternoon and found out one of my tires valve stem might broken. One of my rear tires was losing pressure while I was inflating...so the tire pressure remained the same. Does anyone have any idea how much does it cost to replace a tire valve? Thanks.

Speaking of tires, what does the dealership put on the tires to make them gloss? I've used Tire Wet by Black Magic with my old car's tires, but it gums up and is disgusting like a thick syrup, then its so hard to clean off after a couple of applications. And I despise the sprays because it gets on the rims.
