Default Help Me OBD2b; You're Our Only Hope!

I've got an OBD2b p72 and an OBD2 DX harness. Do I need to find an OBD2 p72 or is there some sort of plug/n/play adapter? Option C is that I'm stupid and missing something simple but I'd rather explore the other two before I start admitting my noob-ness to motor swaps. TIA everyone.

Well, I managed to answer my own question. OBD2b is a completely different pin-out from OBD2a. It looks like the quick-fix is to order a new ECU. I've included a photo from Hondata's website that shows the differences. The top one is OBD2b. The next down is OBD2a. Then there's OBD1 and 0 also. I've yet to find any adapter harnesses for A to B or vise-versa.

Damn, I must have missed this thread. As far I knew, the only differences are the actual shape of the plugs. I'm not sure if the pin locations are different or not. I would suggest the proper year ECU or swap the harness if that's an easier/cheaper solution.
