B-series motor into a '02 Civic EX?

B-series motor into a '02 Civic EX?

Does anyone make motor mounts to fit a B16 or B18 into a '02 Civic EX? If not is there a way to get it to fit in properly? Thanks!

Unlikely, because there's NO way it would be legal.

Why would this be illegal? Maybe I am just stupid, but don't people always swap in different motors into cars?

it has been done before, but like paul said...it would not be legal becuase of emissions and other things

depending on your local emissions law

legally the engine you put in your car is supposed to be newer than your car.

As far as I know, nobody build a kit to allow you do that swap, and honestly, your car would be a better candidate for one of the new K-series engines from an RSX Type S than a B-series engine. The RSX S engine's are in most ways superior to B-series engines anyway, so it's probably the better swap.
