Default 92-95 Motor swap cars

Im new to the civic seen. I am used to my 3000gt vr4. Well there is a lot of slow pos civs around here and a lot of people talk shit about them.
So im going to build one, i want a complete sleeper.

Now to the questions. The only motor that i really like is the H22a, i wont swap any other motor into the car that i purchase. I know that the H22a fits in hatch's, my main question is do they fit in sedan's too.

If they do that opens up my variety a little more.

Thanx in advance.

a HASport kit will take care of you. You need mounts, axles, and you need to cut out a hole for the cable shifter. Theres probably more. PM H22Avid, he did this swap.

Im going to put an fp 3052 if anyone knows what that is.

You shouldn't have any issues beyond the normal issue involved with putting an H22A into your Civic. I have heard of people having issues fitting that engine into a chassis that's been tweaked and not fixed properly, so if your shell shopping, look for a straight body. Your going to have huge traction issues, but I'm assuming you already knew that. Should be a wild combination. Any particular reason you'd rather have the H22A as opposed to a B18C1 (GS-R motor). Both should be about as capabile of spooling that turbo but the B18C1 has a larger aftermarket. Stronger internal replacement parts like pistons, rods and deck closing sleeves are more plentiful with the B18 engine, as well as stronger drivetrain components like custom axles and even custom hubs. Just something to consider.

Yea im going to have a hard time finding a clean shell, but if i have to ill just buy a car and pull the motor with a clean carfax. The reason for going with the H22A as opposed the b18c1 is displacement. Id much rather have a 2.2l than a 1.8. Also im not to worried about aftermarket stuff as far as internals. I have a friend that owns a performance engine building buisiness. He said if he has to he will just call up his manufactures and have them custom make me some pistons and rods. He said it would be about 500 for pistons and about 400 or so for custom rods. And much cheaper if they already make the pistons rods i want.
As far as traction problems i think i can solve that. The most important thing with fwd car is having equil weight on the 2 front tires. This helps tremendously. But we will see how it turns out, i am going to try and make this work.
With the axels im going to try and run some upgraded ones from (forgot the company) and if i happen to break them then i will go back to my friend and have a friend make me custom ones so they wont break.
Im going to try and look for a car within the next month, im just making sure i know everything i can before doing this.

Thanx for your inputs.

Yeah I would deff go with the gsr. But you know how it is, some people always want the underdog.

Know of a place to get that motor for cheaper than 4g's, im not willing to spend that. Ill just buy a h22 and have enough money to put in forged internals. I think this would be a better bang for the buck.

i hope you dont plan on turning very well though, not to mention your gas milage will go to shit. but i suppose thats up to you, there is always modding the suspension along with the motor which would probably be the smartest thing to do. if it were myself tho, i would just go b18c1. very easy to do from what i have been told HUGE aftermarket for parts and also lighter then the h22. if you got the money you could stroke a b18c1, and that would be killer. but money is always an issue no matter who you are. damn i hate that green stuff...
