Yea im going to have a hard time finding a clean shell, but if i have to ill just buy a car and pull the motor with a clean carfax. The reason for going with the H22A as opposed the b18c1 is displacement. Id much rather have a 2.2l than a 1.8. Also im not to worried about aftermarket stuff as far as internals. I have a friend that owns a performance engine building buisiness. He said if he has to he will just call up his manufactures and have them custom make me some pistons and rods. He said it would be about 500 for pistons and about 400 or so for custom rods. And much cheaper if they already make the pistons rods i want.
As far as traction problems i think i can solve that. The most important thing with fwd car is having equil weight on the 2 front tires. This helps tremendously. But we will see how it turns out, i am going to try and make this work.
With the axels im going to try and run some upgraded ones from (forgot the company) and if i happen to break them then i will go back to my friend and have a friend make me custom ones so they wont break.
Im going to try and look for a car within the next month, im just making sure i know everything i can before doing this.
