I might be picking up a B18B for cheap. Now the guy says it's been rebuilt but I want to take the head off and make sure everything is all gravy and toss a new head gasket on it just for insurance (also I work at a parts store so it'll be cheap for parts).

Now I want to know how hard is it to toss in a block guard? I figure I got this thing apart and a block guard should help me once I boost the thing.

Also any other stuff from other B series I can use on this engine that's better the the B18B stuff?
