whats the difference between the b16, b18c1 and b18c5 cranks??

Stroke, I believe journals are the same.

Stroke is going to interplay with rod length and deck height to determine if the setup will be successful.

do you know how much difference number wise there is between these cranks??

The B16A* has a 77.4mm stroke, so that's a 38.7mm main center to journal center crank.

The B18C1 and C5 have identical 87.2mm strokes, so that's a 43.6mm C-to-C crank.

Each journal of a B18C* crank is 4.9mm taller the the corresponding section on a B16A* crank.
