Default nippon racing

Hey guys,

Just had a question about these Nippon racing OEM pistons, are they any good? They seem to be going for pretty cheap. Still piecing together parts for my LSVTEC, wondering if these are a good option. Or should I just stick with OEM.

thanks!

If your building an LS/VTEC get aftermarket pistons.

Why bother? Honda makes plenty fine pistons in all kinds of different dish volumes so you can pretty much get whatever compression ratio you need. Unless the motor is being built for forced induction, OEM Honda pistons will be more than up to the task.

Depending on what CR you're looking to achieve and which head you're running, your local Honda or Acura dealer is as far as you need to go for pistons.

Isn't Nippon Racing the mfgr for all the Tenzo/OBX/etc stuff?
