Default obd2 B18B into obd1 Civic

hey guys im kind of a newb but i currently have a 98 integra ls complete swap sittin in my driveway. i also have a 93 civic hb cx. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do about the obd issue. i heard a jumper harness would do the trick, but all the jumpers that i have come across are for obd2 cars wanting to run an obd1 ecu since it has better performance options. like i said im kind of a newb so maybe im just looking past some things. any help would be great. thanks alot.

dont quote me on this but i would look into getting an odb1 engine harness (150$) i say that because the sensors may have diffrent connectors. i would definatly look into this option.

get an obd-1 ecu for a b18b, then use your stock cx harness on the b18b and you will be all set. (also have to change dizzy, fuel injectors..to obd-1)

option two...use the obd-2 wiring harness and run it through the firewall and plug it into the obd-2 ecu.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a sec here guys. '96+ Integra use the same harness as '94-'95 Integras, but with some extra wires on a seperate plug for the OBD II related sensors. If you have the swap in your garage, you should be able to compare the wiring harness on the engine (assuming it hasnt' been cut) to the wiring harness in yoru car. You'll notice they're very similar. Now I haven't done this swap myself (OBD II USDM Integra into EG civic) but from what I understand, you can just take the harness on the engine, plug in everything fits and find yourself and OBD I ECU (P75 is the non-VTEC DOHC Integra one, I think you need a manual version or you'll get CEL's) and your all set. Like I said, I haven't done that myself, my swap was an OBD I engine into OBD I car but I've heard from a lot of people that it is true. Compare the harnesses and see what you think.

Plug it in. Absolutely no customization is neccessary.

I have a 1998 GSR motor in my 1994 CX hatch. Just cap the extra plug with the crankshaft sensor on it. Everything else will bolt up, and since the b18b1 isn't VTEC, you don't need to run any wires.
