Default Crack In Jackson Racing Manifold

My buddy's Jackson Racing manifold has a crack in it so he's losing MAJOR pressure. He's going to buy a new one, but Jackson Racing is going to rape him a new one. Where should he look for a new one? And what can he do to repair it in the meantime?

Call around to various welding places or marine engine repair/ prop repair places to see if you can find anyone that can weld the aluminum for you, that would be the only thing I can recommend, epoxy's and putty's may be blown out or sucked into the engine.

Send me a picture via E-mail. Some Z-Spar Expoy might do the trick. Ron www.airflowdesign.com

you can get it welded from a welder using brass braids. I had a manifold done by a friend (holds 30psi for a pool heater). Go to someone who welds on hitches and they should be able to do it, they may charge $30 bucks.
