Default Turbo Cams

I've been seriously considering getting some turbo cams for the new setup.

Skunk2 has been my first choice. Can I get some reviews and some feedback? Maybe some more suggestions?

Gains would be good too.

Thanks!

Crower makes good turbo cams, and if you've got the theory down, you can call them up and have them grind you a custom set. When I was running a turbo, I was seriously considering a set of cams ground to maintain a good idle on the primaries, and to have an aggressive turbo grind on the Vtec lobe. I believe their "stock" turbo cams are pretty spiffy too.

Last thing to look into when building a setup. You can (and i know people who do) make 500-600whp on stock heads. It is the very last thing i would look into doing.

In this instance I'd say there's nothing wrong with making the engine itself more efficient instead of making power simply by running mass quantities of boost. He's clearly got a pretty decent sized budget to work with here.

I spoke with my Hondata tuner yesterday about these and he said pretty much what you're saying tx. No need to get them, OEM GSR cams are great for my setup. I may just stick with what I have...

Thanks for the info guys.

Yes GS-R cams please...then only "turbo" cams i've seen tha actually work are for LS engines. But LS' are a fixed lobe setup, and the stock cams are horrid....anything is a step up for them.
