Default Can someone point me in the right direction??

I have been interested in cars basically my whole life and in the last couple years have been in the import scene. Right now I know the difference from a rod and a piston and the crank...blah blah blah. But I would really like to understand the physics of how my car runs and acutally start doing some work under the hood myself. Can anyone give me a website that kinda starts from the begining and works my knowledge up or maybe a good book? I appreciate your help in advance.

There's tons of good info at your local library. I'd check there.

Start reading books. Websites are fine, but books usually give you more unbiased indepth information. Go to Border's and you are bound to find some good reading material. The best way to learn in my opinion is to start doing things, start with easy stuff like tune ups, and have a good shop manual with you to guide you through.
