Question
To remove the distributor rotor:
1) Unplug all electrical connections into the Distributor and temporarily ziptie them away from any moving parts
2) You gotta get the rotor tip to face towards the front of the engine bay. Since you have no electricity going to the Dist, you can do the "Crank and pray" technique (Just crank the car for a fraction of a second... just long enough to cause the cap to rotate). Keep trying until the distributor rotor's tip is pointed towards the front of the vehicle and parallel to the ground. When you get this, make sure to remove your key from the ignition.
3) Get the best damn phillips head screwdriver you got (Like, the one that strips no screws) and and lean in over your engine. If you look from behind the engine towards the rotor, you will see a screw here. Make sure you don't strip this, or you're gonna be in for a very fun time. Remove this screw, then use a flathead screw driver underneath the rotor tip, and your hand on the other side, and apply gentle and even pressure. It should come right off.
Installation is the opposite of removal.

U CAN TAKE THE DISTRIBUTOR OFF BY REMOVING THE 3 12mm BOLTS HOLDING IT ON TO THE HEAD THEN IT WILL BE EASIER TO TAKE IT OFF WITH OUT IT BEING ON THE MOTOR SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WORK OVER YOUR CAR.
lol
yea i stripped that screw...ended up sawzall-ing the rotor off and then notching the screw head with a dremel...eventually got it off with vise-grips and some serious profanity.
