Default 96RL egr help needed

I rarely lift the hood on my RL so I figured I'd ask here before I start poking around in the engine bay.
We just started emission testing here in my area (NC). I have a trouble code that says "egr flow insuffient". I think the code was something like 0401. I'm not familiar with Honda/Acura codes. Can I simply pull the egr valve and clean it? If so...where is it and what does it look like? I'm sure I'll need to go ahead a buy a new gasket before I attempt this but any info would be greatly appreciated. I need to get this fixed so I can pass inspection. Thanks in advance! Craig

Just follow a pipe from the exhaust up around to the intake, the EGR valve is usually on the exhaust, and usually easiest to just replace it.

Thanks! I figured I'd try cleaning it...mainly to save a few bucks. Are you still in High Point? That's where I'm from. If you're a car nut, maybe you've seen my GN around town. Warp6 on the tag.

Holy Shit.

It's a small world. Yes, I'm still in High Point, and as any car nut on an occasional drive down main street on weekends would, I've seen, and heard quite a bit about that GN.

Drop me an IM, I might be able to help you out with that EGR, and give me a chance to get the truth on your GN.

Haha! That's cool. Maybe you saw me pulled over at Carmike Cinema's on main street on Sat. night Jan 3rd. One of High Point's finest had me pulled over for busting an '03 Cobra from stop light at Wal-Mart. He saw the whole thing. Anyway, PM coming. Craig
