96RL egr help needed
I rarely lift the hood on my RL so I figured I'd ask here before I start poking around in the engine bay.
We just started emission testing here in my area (NC). I have a trouble code that says "egr flow insuffient". I think the code was something like 0401. I'm not familiar with Honda/Acura codes. Can I simply pull the egr valve and clean it? If so...where is it and what does it look like? I'm sure I'll need to go ahead a buy a new gasket before I attempt this but any info would be greatly appreciated. I need to get this fixed so I can pass inspection. Thanks in advance! Craig

Just follow a pipe from the exhaust up around to the intake, the EGR valve is usually on the exhaust, and usually easiest to just replace it.

It's a small world. Yes, I'm still in High Point, and as any car nut on an occasional drive down main street on weekends would, I've seen, and heard quite a bit about that GN.
Drop me an IM, I might be able to help you out with that EGR, and give me a chance to get the truth on your GN.
