Do you have your cat? I heard as long as you have your cat and everything is workin good you should pass. Didnt they say anything to you about what you should replace. Also i am not sure if you have this or not, but up in pa i heard that if you spend 150 or more on trying to get your car to pass emmisions, that they will write you off, and i think just give you the sticker then.
