Default Knock sensor question - Any Ideas

91 Integra GS

I bought a b16 swap from a guy who had it installed already on his integra. So I got the engine with the harness already installed.

When I look at the knock sensor behind the engine by the oil filter I found out that it's connected to a plug on the harness.

I searched and find out that the knock sensor should go to the ecu. So why is it connected to the harness?

Should I just unplug it, and wire the knock sensor to the ecu. Will it cause anything since I removed it from the harness? Then where does this plug go to then?

Any ideas appreciated....

I will get some pictures later, and I notice that the plug has 2 wires going to the harness instead of one.

Thanks,

Where do you think all the wires on your engine harness connect to?
