Default Lack of POWER on B20-R

I did a swap on a 94ls to a b20 block w/Type R head +all the internals w/p28 skunk2 chipped ecu, with Obd1 setup.
The block was new from the dealer (1 mile on it), as for the head with under 10k.
When I test drove the car it ran normal, but then when I went to test the power It lacked BIG TIME, at lower revs it picks up speed normal (1500-3000) , but after that I could slam it to 8,500 rpm and the speed will pick up so slow?? AND I MEAN SLOW (btw my rpm's not working)
Compression is straight across the board
Not sure what it is, Im going to try some new injectors, the old ones were out of a gsr.....

Please any suggestions would help

First I would throw away that "Skunk2" chip and go Hondata. Second, what other mods do you have on it?

1st Whats your take with S2 chip?
2nd - Je pistons(12:5:1), s2 stage 2 camshafts/gears, s2 valve springs, retainers, S2 valves, girdle

Disables most sensors, overfuels engine, ignores CELs, etc, etc. Your current lack of power could be due to something seriously wrong with the engine and you'd never know because the S2 ECU will refuse to throw a CEL.

You should be pushing north of 200whp... a lack of power indicates serious problems.

It's VTEC. Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control. There is no "tech" anywhere in there.

on that note, DUH! Without VTEC, the engine is going to act like a ported B20Z. We're talking like 150hp here, and not much in the way of a high end.

hook up the VTEC solenoid and the upper rpms pull should be there. it does not sound like anything's wrong
