when does vtec engage on a b18c? sorry if this sound stupid h:

The GSR on WOT you can feel the cam change at 4500, and at narrow throttle, 5000. When you are on the high cam, then the IAB diaphragm is actuated at @ 5700 and the secondaries open where the computer knows to add the various telemetry in the computer to make the system more efficient. VTEC is this whole process in the GSR, on the narrow bands which make MPG efficiency and on WOT for performance.
