O2 sensor extension?
i just bought a dc 4-2-1 header but the bung is located on the top of the header and mine is right next to the cat so has anybody heard of an extension to make it reach or what have people done? thanks
My DC header came with an extention wire, but you can make one yourself, just cut off the plug from the harness and add some suitable guage wire between the harness and the plug, be sure to double heat-shrink the joints and to solder EVERYTHING. Crimp connectors aren't going to cut it here.

DC usually includes an extension harness with their headers, so I'm assuming you got it used. You can simply extend the wires on your stock O2 sensor to reach the new location at the collector. Or, you can track down a DC extension harness.
i bought a comptech header with the same problem, the shop i bought it from (www.velocityresources.com) included it for free and gave me a great price on the header. btw they gave the factory extension.
