Default Cant get crank pulley bolt off- 91 civic

Anyone have ideas on how to get the crank pulley bolt off, we have tried everything except a impact wrench. If you have any ideas it would help, this thing doesnt want to move at all.

Yup, here it is: thetoolwarehouse.net

You will need a 1/2" drive breaker bar to attach to that tool.

when I took my pulley off for my alternator and power steering the one on my original motor was a bitch to remove the bolt. An impact couldn't get it so we used the 1/2" breaker bar with a cheater bar and got it, then aftewards we just pulled the pulley off with out using the tool. And when we swapped the pulley over onto the new engine the same thing, didn't have to use a pulley tool and didn't even need a breaker bar, just used a impact wrench.

The "pulley tool" we're referring to is not a puller. It is a tool to hold the crank in place so you can try to break the bolt loose without turning the motor. (I used a 5 ft cheater pipe to break mine loose too  ) You're absolutely right though. Once you break that bolt loose and remove it, the pulley just slides off because it's keyed, not pressed on.

take out the starter and shove a screwdriver down in the flywheel to jam it in place... get a BIG STRONG screwdriver.. then just loosen the pulley bolt.. you may have to re-do the timing tho after your all done... *torque it to spec*
