Default Diff. between GSR and TypeR flywheel

what's the difference if any between a stock GSR flywheel and a stock JDM ITR flywheel? i'm changing my clutch this friday and wondering if it would be worth my time and or the $120 to add the JDM ITR flywheel.

ITR is lighter, but by how much I'm not sure. Good OEM quality.

you'll probably find 8lbs to be a little combersome for daily driving... Jerome Soh lightens stock gsr flywheels to 11lbs, a more managable weight.

thanks for the info, but unfortuantly it's a little late. i've been drivin on the 8lb. and stage 4 clutchmasters setup for 2 days now and havn't had any problems. the clutch pedal actually feels "lighter" than when i had the CM stage 3 press. plate w/a stock ls disk. waitin for the 500 break-in miles to pass so i can go put the setup to the test.

you may not have a problem with the flywheel :dunno: People seem to be divided on theyre preference for a super-light flywheel or a heavier one... Some people just dont like the dificulty launching, but some really like the free revving on the move. Just a matter of preference I guess. If you like it, then
