b20z bottom end on b16a3 (95 del sol)..how hard
how hard is it..and what would be involved to put a B20z (crv OBD2) bottom end..on a B16a3 (95 del sol DOHC OBD1) head..im curious as well to know what kind of hp figures would be possible out of this combo...any info would be of great help
Same as any other frankenstein build, you have to plug and re-route the vtec oil passages. You'll typically see about 180 HP and 180lb/ft of torque out of one of these setups without much tweaking.

I'd say 180 ft/lb is a little much, most are in the 140's with a mild build. And if you want to rev that block out to 7500-8000 rpm reliably you are going to need to do some work to that block, it wasn't meant to rev over 7k.
