Radiator Fan stays on
I just got back form a 2 hour drive, and my radiator fan wont shut off. I turned the car on and off a few times, but it still stays goin. I thought it might have been hot from the drive, but engine temp gauge says its normal, and when I opened the hood all looked normal. I would like to find a way to turn it off, and find out the problem, if any of you guys could help quickly I'd appreciate it greatly, as I dont want to kill my battery. Thanks
Trace down the wires coming from the fan, they go to a plug, just unplug it.

Depending on the car, it may stay on ( which would be normal) to cool down the engine at a faster rate...... have you tried to let it run its cycle and see if it shuts off. if it does then its normal, if it doesnt you may have a short but doubt it
what kind of car do you have? because i know that the 93 accord's fan blew even when the car was off to cool it down faster. it turns off after a while, some audis do that too, so it should be normal.
