those 2G cars are garbage anyway, they can be made to go really fast with 1G parts tho. plus after 92.5 they all came with 7bolt motors, which 25% of all existing 7bolts have already crank-walked according to DSMTuners.

a 1G DSM should not be underestimated even if it was only free modded

a kid i know can spin 3rd gear at 60 just by stomping the gas, and burn em al the way till 4th if he wanted.

and his car was bought+built for $2000

yeaaaaa...
i could have three 12sec DSM's instead of one prelude

Oh yea, in no way was I underestimating the 1g DSMs (my fav gen) in anyway I have alot of respect for them. I dont know how we got off on that but just wanted to make myself clear.

Yea too bad i was talkin about my car when i said i/h/e, nice try tho...
Well if you were talking about your car you need to learn sentence structure. When mentioning the i/h/e, you should put a different subject in there so that the readers dont assume you're talking about the same car. Atleast you did try though.

well it all depends on if its a 1g or 2g GST

the 1g can make a lot of HP on the stock turbo, if you know what your doing

of course 1G AWD cars with a 14b have hit high 12's with 3in turbo back, MBC, a better fuel pump and some other cheap and easy mods, we are talking stock sidemount also.

I was talking about intake, you still can't bypass the MAS, but people with a 1g usually upgrade to a 2g MAS or a 3" GM one.

And the highest horsepower on the stock turbo was 268awhp, and he hit a 12.02 in the 1/4th with a 2600lb weight (with driver).

Good point, you are right, and at 7psi the SR isn't really a beast or anything (205 flywheel HP)

I have only raced ITR once with my SR20 S14. I gota say those ITR are pretty impressive with just simple bolt ons. I have basic bolt ons and I was running at stock boost and type r hung with me up to around 90 mph. I only had him by less than a car length when we reached 100... Just FYI my SR is from an S14 so it has around 15 more hp than S13 SRs.

Im not reading this whole thread, but there is a vid roaming around the web of a Evolution 8 with exhaust racing an 97 ITR with full exhaust and a flywheel, needless to say the ITR pulled on the Evo from a second gear roll, the evo finally started to pull after the teg shifted into 5th

That sounds perfectly feasable...i pulled a stock evo 8 about 2-3 cars with 176 whp and 173 wtq and full interior. Evo's aren't that quick from a roll at all, i can post the vid if anyone wants to see it, i just need a host.
