You'll get a hang of it bro.

No need to upgrade your axles, I know people running 10's on stock axles. Ask them to spray down some VHT h:.

Oh, that reminds me. Can I buy VHT and apply it to my tires just before I run? If so, is there a local shop like NAPA or something that I can buy it from?

Thanks Chanc!

He's upgraded everything else, he might as well do it now before he actually needs them.

Is that that sticky shit they always spray on the track at the begining of the night?

This track is super stingy with their VHT. Everyone complains about how poorly the track slips.

I ran faster before on less power and crappier tires.

I feel your pain. You'll get it right, practice launching somewhere . As long as you can hook off the line you'll be fine.

Is there another track anywhere that you can run?

There's one in Birmingham, but my problem is safety equipment. Most tracks won't let a 400 whp Civic run without a roll cage, helmet, scatter shield, blah blah. I'd just get kicked off....

they dont care abotu your HP,lol. right now your running 12.6(according to your sig). you have to drop 6 tenths at least before youll need a cage of any kind. what is your sixty foot? with slicks you migh be in need of a cage. but as of now i wouldnt worry about it. 11.99 is when youll need a cage.

I've dealt with Tom at Camp1320 before. Good guy! I got my ACL bearings from them.

Thanks 1.8T! I'll check them out when the time comes.

Allows you to run a lower boost at the launch and then once you have traction you hit a button and boost rises to higher level. My friend scott is running a boost scramble on his 400+whp civic and it really helps. He was running some consistent 12.2's a couple of week ago.

Hmmm... I have a DIY for making the remote switch for my ProfecB SpecII so I might just have to do that. I've been thinking about using the cruise control unit to do it too. :naughty:

Thanks for the info. I know they'll boot me for not having a scatter shield though...

My 60' on my 12.6 run was 2.0 on street tires. I'm trying to keep it there with my DR's but with the power I make I spin all through the top of first and lose momentum into 2nd. I just need to practice...
