BFG drag radials are absolutely the best street legal tires for the drag strip, I've pulled a best of 1.8 60 foot on them, and I'm not that good of a driver. They won't last long on the street, maybe a couple of months max.

It really depends on if you mean tires that you would drive daily and then go to the track and run on them, of if you have another pair of rims that you'd throw on to go to the track.

If you mean daily driven tire, the Falken Azinas are amazing.

Default summer tires or drag radials....hmmmmmmm

for the STRIP it will always be the SLICK hands down...but if you're like most of us who like to DRIVE to the strip and run what you brung and dont want to have to change tires constantly at the house before running...you will find a plethora of DRAG RADIALS that are fine for strip and EveryDay use...personally my BFG drag radials didnt last too long and FORGET driving in the rain with them under normal driving without worry...Nitto drag radials are my next best bet and NOW theres a new Mickey thompson drag radial out thats looks really tempting too! youre going to have to use the ol' trial and error with finding your best all around "street/strip" tire. Will it stay on your car everyday? will it only be run at the track? how long will they last in the twisties? etc etc...or...can your suspension take having a slick vs. a drag radial vs a street radial hopping off the line? my goal is for 1.4 60ft.s with the front wheels off the floor...dont know if Nittos will do it but will last a hell of a lot longer...I know BFGs and new M/T will help my 60's. good luck and good hunting!
