Someone who sticks to his guns, and is willing to invest the time in an incrementer, buy America Online, or call his ISP every day to get his IP bumped a digit will definitely always be able to visit.

And even if you did go that far to stay here, I doubt that Trey or Daniel would go through what they'd have to do to take it to the next level on their end.

I'd really rather you stayed, since you show signs of being able to formulate a clear thought and argue halfway intelligently. I mean, if nothing else, we're sure to be entertaining each other, eh?

why would i use america online which dosen't even give users a shell acount? Oh and einstien, alls you have to do to change your ip is go into the command console and type ipconfig /release then when thats done type ipconfig /renew and presto. In a matter of second you have a new ip. Once again, you way underestimate me, and way over estimate your intellectual capabilities.

BTW, are these Terms of Service actually new or the ones I agreed to when I first registered. The reason I ask is because scanning over these 2 years ago when I registered doesn't exactly leave a permanent memory.
I think the part you forgot about 2 years ago what the clause that the TOS are subject to change without prior notice and that you agree to abide by all changes.

GK is right this is losing it's usefulness. We have made other changes which were much more discussable than street racing and we have not gone back on any of these changes. It's ok for you guys not to like it and it's ok for you to talk about not liking it but don't expect us to change this rule.

i hate to tell you brother but my shell account only uses susqehanna to gain access to the internet, i can assure you it has nothing to do with my connection, so whatever information you think you have, is misleading you.

That's the part that I can't stand. You could add to the TOS "If you use the word 'car' then we will ban you" and not tell anyone, then half of the members would be gone.

[edit] Maybe you should put that in the TOS too since it's not included.

Zivi, I've started searching around Honda-Tech too, and Im waiting on Integrity to get back to me about some other boards. I guess I'll just have to stick to the DSM boards for now.

Actually that _greatly_ depends on how DHCP is setup on your ISPs side. My ISP will not allow you to release and renew quickly. Sure, you can release, but the DHCP lease is stored until a given time then if it's not in use is then opened up. Unless you are changing to a different device (with a different MAC address) this is how most ISPs I've used are. If your's is not like that, then I applaud your ISP.

Of course, this is only for broadband connections since you can't release/renew on a normal dial up connection (the IP is the assigned to the dial in port) (obviously one can reconnect but you didn't say that soo..) Of course, the AOL rules might be different since AOL is retarded

But congrats on knowing basic windows NT based tcp/ip commands (JFWY in case you don't realize when I'm sarcastic)

You realize that almost ALL service agreements are like this right? ISP TOSes are the same thing, so what are you going to do? Stop connecting to all ISPs? All the other forums I can think of have "open" TOS's also. All hosting companies do also. Some that don't will instead throw in a general termination of service clause that they can use for any reason. What do you expect? For us to delete all accounts everytime the TOS is changed? Seriously?

I'm over this argument but let's please think before we speak sometimes...
